Will Trump Republicans reshape America with protectionism, nationalism and isolationism instead of Regan Era free trade, free market and a strong military. World Peace will never be achievable in my life time.

Three fantastic weeks wandering from EPCOT to Animal Kingdom to Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom. We tried every restaurant we could in 2024. Of course Mimi walked and stayed up until both of us were exhausted.

We dined underneath the lovely London sky in this newly re-imagined restaurant inspired by Mary Poppins Returns with our friends Brian and Sally. Learned a lot about Disney’s Club 33. Maybe some day…….

Dusty transported our taste buds to “island time” with delightful Latin-Caribbean family-style dishes . We shared the night with Marshall, Dawn, Shaun and Dusty. Fun catching up over the past 10 years and reliving our African Adventure..

Mimi wanted a low key, subdued birthday celebration. In the back of Mimi’s mind was that she would celebrate her birthday on the Disney Fantasy in April. And Yes she did. As a family we celebrated everything.

Our FAMILY sharing the wonders of Disney World. From Dawn to Dusk Mimi marched her Grandson’s, daughter in law and son from end of Animal Kingdom to another. A day of miniature put-put golf will never be forgotten.

Concierge lounge, dining privileges, first seat at all live performances, sundaes served after every meal, kids lounges, excursions, private cabana, Palo… Mimi planned and planned… we did it all.

Jake had to go home early… boy what did he miss? Late night stays in the parks, more walking, stuffing ourselves at every opportunity with Disney Goodies. Characters… ride after ride in every park. We all had an incredible time.

Lisa and Jake Henry’s wedding. A great time for all especially for GGD who in her wheelchair cut a rug dancing center stage. It was great having our son and our daughter and her husband here for all the food and fun.

Our trip to Spokane to watch the Broadway version of Frozen did not happen. Historic winds put out the power for over 22 hours. The room at the Historic Davenport was canceled. Our priority was taking care of our house and property.

Ms. Eloise and Ms. Rooney took over our lives for ten days. Good bed partners neither are, but our loving daughter bought a queen bed to give the four of us more room. Happy Birthday Miss Rooney.

Weston returns… Yoga, three mile walks, swimming at the Griz pool, hike to the “M”, arrow head making, knife sheath finish, spooking bed covers, Delta Sky Clubs, and most importantly Mimi’s Love and chocolate chip brownies. Life is good!
